Hey Kids! Let's Make A Movie!

Yeah. A movie. 65 - 75 minutes, animated with Lighwave3D, based on ideas that I want to make.

Yeah... I can do that...

Check Back.

BSG #14 - A DIsquiet...

Wow. That was an unspectacular episode, wasn't it?

Ron Moore, in deciding what episode he would shoot as his directorial debut he chose this, the setup episode. Last week's epi solved all the problems from last "season", well, as many as they were going to solve, and finished a chapter in the saga. This episode set the table... and it did that in a real cool way.

The thing that this show said about the series was this; these people are damn good actors. They are playing in a really cool universe, with Capt. Ron leading them. BSG is not space opera, nor is it a fantasy like Star Wars or Stargate SG1. It is a real story, a SCIENCE FICTION story, a story that uses real people in a science fiction setting. It is a Science Fiction story in the same way that HOUSE is a medical show. It doesn't matter what the actors are doing, flying a Viper, diagnosing a patient, but they get to ACT in between. They are horribly flawed individuals who are struggling to survive. The difference is that the people in the Rag-Tag Fleet are fleeing to save humanity. They are pissed that the people leading them frakked up, and frakked up good.

So... the episode was good. Not great, but good. Solid.

Looking forward to Geata and the mutiny, Kara and her self, Bill and Rosland, Six, Tigh and his Wife, the fleet and what about Scarecrow's Brain!?
